Genesink scientific publication — peer-reviewed research

New Paper on Perovskite Stability Published

Our R&D team published a peer-reviewed paper on perovskite thin films stability in a leading materials science journal, marking a milestone for our solar applications and energy storage research lines.

The paper describes a novel encapsulation strategy using GenesInk’s proprietary conductive interface layer, which extends the operational lifetime of perovskite solar cells by a factor of 3.5x under accelerated aging conditions.

This contribution is part of our broader R&D commitment to the GNKsun pole — energy generation and storage — and opens concrete industrial perspectives for printable photovoltaics on flexible substrates.

Strategic Partnership with Automotive Leader in Asia

GenesInk confirms its expansion in Asia with the signing of a framework agreement with a major automotive OEM for the integration of in-mold electronics (IME) sensors in next-generation vehicles.

The partnership covers the qualification of GenesInk silver nanoinks for capacitive touch surfaces, heating elements, and structural sensors embedded directly inside plastic parts via thermoforming.

This agreement materializes the strategic shift initiated with the opening of our Nagoya office in 2025 and reinforces our position as a key European supplier of printed electronics solutions for the global automotive industry.

New Nano-Ag Formulation: +20% Conductivity Breakthrough

A major breakthrough for foldable screens and flexible electronics. Our R&D team has succeeded in improving the percolation of nanowire networks, achieving an unprecedented +20% conductivity gain on our reference silver nanoink formulation.

This advance results from three years of work on the controlled morphology of silver nanowires, combined with a proprietary anti-oxidation surface chemistry. The new formulation maintains its conductivity below 0.5 mm bending radius — a key milestone for next-gen foldable displays.

Industrial roll-out is planned for Q1 2026 with our pilot customers in the display and IoT sectors.
